Andrea Bowen (born Andrea Bowen) is an American actor from the United States. Her acting career began with Broadway programs like Les Miserables, The Sound of Music and The Sound of Music. She was first cast as the character Julie Mayer in the ABC comedy drama series Desperate Housewives. This role was regularly played until the year 2008. Julie Alexandra Mayer is the eldest child born to Susan Delfino and Karl Mayer. As a young girl, Julie was the perfect child for Susan and Karl.
